Website access
Reach websites and handle navigation challenges.
The remote browser needs a reachable target URL. It does not inherit your laptop's cookies, VPN, files, or localhost services.
With a connected Playwright page:
const response = await page.goto("https://example.com", {
waitUntil: "domcontentloaded",
timeout: 20_000,
});
console.log(response?.status(), await page.title());| Symptom | Check |
|---|---|
| Navigation timeout | URL, DNS, redirects, response timing |
| Sign-in page | Credentials and session state |
| Challenge or CAPTCHA | Use an authorized human handoff |
| Localhost or private target fails | Make a controlled staging URL reachable |
| Different local behavior | Compare browser version, viewport, website state, and egress |
Private platform networks are restricted. Remote localhost points to the browser's own environment.
See Regions for placement. Custom proxies and static IPs are coming soon. Website access depends on the target's rules and behavior.
